Greenwith Kindergarten is a large Department for Education site. We are situated next to the Greenwith Primary School and Our Lady of Hope School Campus.
Children start full time Kindergarten in their eligible year before school.
Due to high demand for places, parents are advised to contact the Kindergarten and put their child’s name on our Preliminary Enrolment List, at least 12 months before their child is due to commence attendance.
Our aim is to provide an educational experience for children and families that will develop life skills and competencies through a fun, play based program. Our program focuses on all areas of a child’s development, uses multicultural and non gender biased resources and provides a safe and secure learning environment.
Children who attend Greenwith Kindergarten are entitled up to 15 hours of preschool a week.
While most children in South Australia start fulltime kindergarten from four years of age, children who are under the Guardianship of the Minister for Families and Communities and children who are from Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander backgrounds are able to start kindergarten from 3 years of age.
If you have any queries about your child attending kindergarten please do not hesitate to speak with one of our staff.
|9:00am – 3:00pm||Monday to Friday|
Children access their 15 hours a week at Greenwith Kindergarten by attending two full days (Monday to Thursday) and 1 full day every other week on a Friday.
